1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using seedb ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). seedb is created by Kyle Minto. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account

2.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

3. User-Generated Content

3.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (seeds, descriptions, images, comments). By submitting content, you grant us:

• A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content on this platform
• The right to modify or adapt your content for technical or operational purposes

3.2 Content Standards

You agree not to submit content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or offensive
• Infringes on intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others
• Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Is spam, advertising, or promotional material (unless authorised)
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Contains false or misleading information about seeds

3.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, moderate, or remove any content at our discretion. We are not responsible for user-generated content and do not endorse any opinions expressed by users.

4. Minecraft and Third-Party Rights

seedb is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or Minecraft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

• All Minecraft-related content is subject to Mojang's terms and EULA
• Seeds shared on this platform are generated by Minecraft and are not our intellectual property
• Screenshots and images must comply with Minecraft's usage guidelines

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Collect or harvest personal information of other users
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or statistics
• Engage in any activity that harms the reputation of the Service

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding (excluding user content and Minecraft-related trademarks), is owned by Kyle Minto and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7.2 Seed Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or functionality of seeds shared by users. Seeds may not work as described due to Minecraft updates, version differences, or user error.

7.3 Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party sites.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorised access to or use of the servers or your personal information
• Any bugs, viruses, or harmful code transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in content or any loss or damage incurred from using content
• User-generated content or conduct of third parties

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kyle Minto (the operator of seedb) from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

10. Competitions and Promotions

10.1 General Terms

From time to time, we may run competitions, contests, or promotional activities ("Competitions"). Participation in any Competition is subject to these Terms and any specific rules published for that Competition.

10.2 Eligibility

• Competitions are open to registered users aged 13 and over
• Users under 18 must have parental/guardian consent to participate
• No purchase necessary to enter or win
• One entry per person (multiple accounts will result in disqualification)
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Kyle Minto are not eligible

10.3 Skill-Based Competitions

Our competitions are skill-based and judged on merit (quality, quantity, diversity, engagement). Winners are selected based on published criteria, not by chance or lottery. This makes them legal promotional competitions under UK law and not gambling.

10.4 Prizes

• Prizes are as stated in the Competition rules and are non-transferable
• Cash prizes will be paid via PayPal or UK bank transfer only
• Winners must provide valid payment details within 14 days of notification
• We are not responsible for any tax implications of prizes (winners are responsible for declaring prizes to HMRC if required)
• Prizes have no cash alternative unless stated otherwise
• We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary

10.5 Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be selected according to the published judging criteria
• Winners will be notified via email within 7 days of the Competition closing
• Winners must respond within 14 days to claim their prize
• If a winner does not respond within 14 days, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner
• Winners' usernames may be published on the platform

10.6 Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify entries that:

• Violate these Terms or Competition rules
• Are fraudulent, spam, or low-quality submissions designed to game the system
• Use multiple accounts or attempt to manipulate results
• Contain false, misleading, or plagiarised content

10.7 Our Rights

We reserve the right to:

• Cancel, modify, or suspend any Competition at any time for any reason
• Disqualify any participant who breaches the rules
• Make final decisions on all matters relating to Competitions
• Verify the eligibility of participants and winners

10.8 Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for:

• Any loss or damage arising from participation in Competitions
• Technical failures, lost entries, or delayed notifications
• Disputes between participants
• Any tax implications of winning prizes

10.9 Data Processing

By entering a Competition, you consent to us processing your personal data (including payment details for prize distribution) in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Winner information may be retained for tax and legal compliance purposes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms
